Couple of tunes I've done lately

Postby swith » Mon Jul 27, 2009 11:28 pm

Earlier this year, few months ago now I made this:

It's a poshed up version of a tune I wrote a while ago, which used to be all about the sin waves and distorted guitar. I always wanted to hear what the melody sounded would sound like if I used a decent synth orchestra to sequence it, and over at a friends studio I spent an afternoon doing this..

The weekend before last I finished recording this.

Again, using my chums synth orchestra and nice mics.

I like this sound I'm getting now with my stuff, finding moving away from lots of heavy guitars quite pleasing. It's probably my age.

Awesome stuff, I reckon we should start a campaign now to get cheese toasties for xmas number 1!

Loving the updated version of Bad Cakes too :)

Cheers man :)

I'd love to write a novelty christmas number one, that or a eurovision entry. That's pretty much my ultimate goal
